Spiritual Responsibility
South America, Peru, and the Sacred Valley offer us not only the opportunity for a beautiful journey, but also a deep spiritual experience. Traveling through a relatively unspoiled culture and such powerful lands is extraordinary in itself. In addition to seeing beautiful places and people, we come here—consciously or not—with another intention: healing. It seems that we come to life to make a change, and we come to Peru to make a change in our lives. We believe we should all take responsibility during our experiences here.
To carry the responsibilities that come with the paths we walk, we need a safe space and a circle held with tenderness and compassion. We hold this space with great care so that your time in the Sacred Valley can bring as much focus, strength, and healing as possible—to you and to all of us. We feel this way because we see the people we meet as travelers walking in line with their intention.
As Vamoss, we believe that each person lives their spirituality in their own way and that it is deeply important not to judge anyone for this. The way we hold space is nourished by our roots, our inherited connections, the local cosmovision of the place where we live, and the experiences we have gathered along the road. From the channels we trust to be supportive, we share what we receive only in the language and measure we feel is right for you.
Medicinal Plants
We choose to connect with sacred rituals that may alter the way we experience life. We do so to live in harmony with our minds and hearts and to nourish our vibration, connections, and relationships with love. We show the greatest respect to all the traditions and plants present on this land.
Vamoss is here for people who have realized that there are more important things in life than simply having fun. We wish to remind you of the joy of healing, peace, rest, and nourishing the soul. Healing is not in a house, a valley, Peru, or a plant; the connections we need are in our hearts and in our breath.
Many organizations recognize that the foundation of the path lies in medicinal plants. If your approach is also in this direction, please do not choose us.
Past
On our journeys, neither we nor the participants prioritize taking photos with the latest iPhones. Even when we are surrounded by powerful landscapes and living truly special moments with many people, our social media sharing stays limited.
Unless a group or an individual explicitly asks us to, we do not record those intimate moments. By now you already know: we choose simplicity, and we are not in the business of advertising.
At the Vamoss Home, which has been in service since 2013, we have hosted more than 1,000 people from 60 different nationalities.
Since 2012, across Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile, we have offered more than 35 fifteen-day journeys along many different routes, and more than 200 shorter experiences lasting 2–7 days.
Depending on demand—and on the trust we have in those who hold the space alongside us—we have also hosted larger groups.

Our Social Responsibility Project
Protect Your Circle!
This project holds a very important intention for Vamoss Experience, and we believe it can bring much beauty to the world. We believe our world can be improved through an approach based on culture rather than nationality, religion, or capital. At the same time, cultural and natural values are suffering great damage in our age.
We want to make presentations to Indigenous communities about the reasons that bring us to South America, the Sacred Valley, and their communities; ways to preserve culture, unity, solidarity, and Indigenous languages; what modern and urban life give and take away; consumer culture; and solutions for protecting water and soil. Whenever we travel to high altitudes, we hope to offer these presentations and distribute informative brochures.
Cusco and the Sacred Valley will be the pilot areas for the project. We will move forward with the goal of supporting Indigenous peoples around the world who are struggling to survive and preserve their cultures.
Note: 5% of the income from Vamoss High-Altitude Journeys will be reserved for this social-responsibility intention. When we travel to Q’eros, 10% of our income is given to the Q’ero community.
