Vamoss Travel

A.     Join Us

This moment is a sacred moment…

For years we dreamed of it; together, we kept shaping that dream. And now, we are inviting those who feel called to walk with us—to learn from one another, to take responsibility together, and to live the moments we have long been longing for, side by side.

We believe that the path to becoming one passes through intention and justice. We believe we can truly come together if we are open and nonviolent in our communication; fair in all matters of income and expenses (including how we share work and profit); hardworking; and responsible.

We also know that dreams of togetherness matter—that their very existence helps us stay true to our hearts.

We invite you to walk alongside us, to be a companion on the road, to become a community together, to be kindred spirits—and even, if it feels right, to become partners in work.

Vamoss has grown and matured through the support of every person who has come into contact with it. The good-hearted people who have gathered around Vamoss have contributed to themselves, and also supported the experiences of others.

And now, as Vamoss grows, it carries a new excitement—and takes on new responsibility.

We have grown; we are growing. And if you feel the call, we invite you to grow with us.

Because we are living in a beautiful place, learning and doing beautiful things—and now we want to share this way of being. The reason is simple: sharing is beautiful.

1.      Work-Stay-Experience (Volunteer)

We often find ourselves needing three people who love to work and learn:

Since 2013, we have had the chance to live and work together with many volunteers who stayed for periods of up to six months.

We believe the exchange stays balanced when the give-and-take is held in the following way:

Volunteering:

5h work / day x5 days     accommodation (7 days) + lunch (5 days)

6h work / day x5 days     accommodation (7 days) + breakfast and lunch (5 days)

7h work / day x5 days     accommodation (7 days) + 3 meals (5 days)

Volunteering +Working:

8h work / day x5 days     accommodation (7 days) + 3 meals (5 days) + 8s/h (40s a week)

10h work / day x5 days  accommodation (7 days) + 3 meals (5 days) + 9s/h (135s a week)

12h work / day x5 days  1st month: accommodation (7 days) + 3 meals (5 days) + 9s/h (225s/week)

2nd month: accommodation (7 days) + 3 meals (5 days) + 10s/h (250s/week)

The food we give is the same food we eat. Tasty, healthy and quality food,

Such an experience offers:

3.      Support Us (Receive a Gift)

If you have already been in touch with us, or if you have read about the project and felt our intention, you can make a donation to support us. You may attach a condition to your donation. You can choose for your support to be used for the school construction, the circle space, the children’s park, or the shared kitchen, or for our social responsibility project, “Protect Your Circle!”

We also want to say this clearly: even if you truly wish to donate in the pure sense of the word, we will absolutely want to give something back to you materially as well—not only a heartfelt thank you.

Gift voucher: you receive a gift voucher worth 1.5 times the amount of your support, valid for our accommodation and/or travel services.

For support between $20–$100:

A beautiful thank-you in your name on our website’s Thank You Page, which will remain there permanently—because you believed in and supported the circle being formed in this transition period.

For support between $100–$250:

In addition to the thank-you above, we will plant seeds on our land in your name, holding you and your loved ones in good intention. In this way, you will be at our table with every meal.

For support of $250 and above:

In addition to the thank-you and the gift above, we will carve your name—not into the mountains, perhaps, but into our table. We will engrave your name onto the large wooden table in the Common Area, the meeting point of the entire space.

To offer your support and receive your gift, please get in touch with us.

Thank you,

4.      Build a House/Room (Have Your Place)

Just as there are people who have lived in the Sacred Valley for a long time, many others are moving here—or coming often, staying for longer periods, resting their minds, listening to their spirits, and ultimately gathering strength.

Friends and/or investors who would like to invest in a bungalow or a triangular house in our village—and in doing so, secure a place for themselves in the Sacred Valley—are warmly invited.

You can invest in a small home with a kitchen and bathroom, or in a single bungalow room, with the infrastructure, construction management, maintenance, and operation handled by us.

You can receive back more than the cash you put into building a house or a room, while also ensuring that you have your own place here for the next 5–10 years.

This way, when you or someone you know comes here, you will have your own place to stay (for example, one month each year). When you are not using it, we operate it; the income generated repays your investment, and you also receive a return of at least 1.4 times your investment (the exact rate varies depending on the terms).

This option offers both annual complimentary stays for you and your circle, and a financial return on your investment.

Those who would like to form this kind of bond can access the details here.

5.      Join Vamoss in Creating (Become Part of It)

At this point, an intention is waking up in you: to live in the Sacred Valley, to be part of Vamoss, to have a home here in the future (either on our land or nearby), and to serve, create, and generate income here. For those of you who are considering building both a heartfelt bond and a real collaboration with Peru and with Vamoss, we have a flow in mind—one we believe could suit you well.

You begin a journey in which you can live here first as a guest, then as a volunteer, then as a team member or a project lead—and eventually, you secure your own place here, with the intention of staying around six months of each year.

Yes, this is a special moment for us. We are here with the knowledge and experience that come from fourteen years of work and observation. We are talking about building a community—something we can create together, something perhaps needed by us, and by the world.

To the friends who have never quite managed to enter the dense, tense current of the world—who have not been able to become part of it—we are speaking to you. To the friends who have never forgotten that life is far more beautiful and more loving than it is made to seem; who may have had to struggle not to forget this; who have not given up certain principles; who, even if they felt lost at times, never lost their devotion to living life the way they truly wanted; who have done what they could to lessen the difficulties that come with this stance—and who, at times, may even have had to fight for it—we are speaking to you.

To those who do not enjoy being dependent on emotions or substances; who sense how deep life is; who have explored their own inner worlds; who have tasted the beauty of working with love alongside others; who are not afraid to change their lives; who are ready to move toward the work they have always dreamed of; who know the value of life—we are inviting you to Peru. We are inviting lovers of nature and creation, and those passionate about living in unity in South America, to build our village in the Sacred Valley, to build work and grow what already exists—to become companions on the road, and partners in what we do.

In truth, it is quite simple. We set off years ago. The Vamoss Home has been in service in the Sacred Valley for more than fourteen years. With Vamoss Travel, we organized many beautiful journeys and became part of deeply meaningful experiences for many people. And throughout all of it, we stayed ourselves. Our journeys were never “tours.” Our home was never a hostel. We saw how needed—and how powerful—it is to do everything with love, to do it the way we ourselves would want it to be done. As long as we do it with full care, as long as we stay in love, what emerges becomes a real service.

Here we are speaking of two things at once: a massive tourism potential (Cusco), and a beautiful community (the Sacred Valley) that is just beginning to take shape and grow. The tourism potential of Cusco is ultimately nourished by people who choose a destination like Peru to travel to—and they are open to sincere, heartfelt offerings that can add a special story to their experience. And in the Sacred Valley, people live who, like us, have uprooted themselves to come here: people who pursue a life lived with care; who know the value of natural, healthy nutrition and actually live it; who take joy in others benefiting from what they know and how they live; who love to produce and create; who are living this transformation within themselves; and who know, first, how to take responsibility for their own lives. The Sacred Valley is a place where any work done with love and respect can find its answer.

During the time we have existed here, we have gained experience with almost all the sub-projects in the diagram below. We also have a sense of the process—how each project can move forward. And there is still so much that can be done.

Our intention, first, is to bring you here in spirit as well—to help you ground. To get to know one another. To strengthen our circle. To brainstorm together around projects. To camp together. To hold San Pedro ceremonies with the intention that our circle moves forward with love and strength. To teach you Spanish. To learn permaculture together. To build gardens in our village. To plant trees. To share knowledge about healthy nutrition and the foods of this land. To practice meditation, yoga, tai chi, and similar disciplines together.

At this stage, you support and join the shared work and life here.

After that (ideally after one month), a time comes when we can also dedicate energy to your future plans and work goals here. We will design together how we are walking; what we expect from each other; and which line of responsibility you will take on. Together, we will map the investment, the labor, and the action plan required for the new work we will build—or for the branch of work we choose to develop. By the end of this process (a period of around 3–6 months), we will have prepared an agreement.

Your project will have two partners: you, and Vamoss Experience. Based on what your work brings to Vamoss—and will bring—we will determine a share, and you will become a partner in Vamoss Experience as well, while also earning income from the other projects. In this way, each of us becomes, even if in a small way, a partner in each project.

We have extensive experience in how to hold a communal living space at Vamoss. We have observed deeply what kinds of services we can offer here, and how to run them. We have learned what is needed to live in Peru, build work, obtain residency, handle paperwork, and more. We have produced and served in many different areas. We have learned how to work with local people, and we have come to know the region and its culture.

Our plans are ready. We are ready to move.

If you feel that this call has arrived at exactly the right time, don’t overthink it—reach out. And let’s remember: we are not looking for volunteers; we are looking for companions and partners. We truly believe that the circle formed by those who arrive with this intention will have a clear road ahead.

In summary,

For those who intend to join us, we ask that you purchase your flight tickets; that you pay roughly one full month for the first month and half-payment for the second month; and that, with the meeting we hold at the beginning of the third month, you begin living here without payment (of course, everything can be discussed). In the first month, you focus on your inner process, take substantial responsibility in communal tasks, learn about the line of work you want to specialize in, and prepare a report. In the second month, you take on a role within that line of work (one that can generate income over time), and in this way you cover half of your living here through work. In the third month, we lay out the details, evaluate our performance, and put the business plan on the table.

Our reason for asking for payment in the first part of the process is to keep you connected to the reality that money is also real here; to ensure you are also supporting Vamoss materially; and to help you move through your adaptation period comfortably, without being overburdened by work at the very beginning.

Those of you who feel ready to take a step like this—welcome. We are here, and life is flowing.

6.      Angel or Major Investor (Grow, and Help It Grow)

The step we took fourteen years ago—opening the Vamoss Home in Peru’s Sacred Valley—became the doorway to beauties we could not even have imagined back then. Our home became a place of good for many people. Without any promotion, it carried itself forward, grew, and matured.

We kept the promise we made then, and now we are ready to make new promises. Until now, the house has used what it earned to sustain itself. Now, together with our knowledge and experience, it wants to become more—and to serve more people.

They say there is great uncertainty in the country, in the world. And yet something else is also emerging: beautiful things are happening too, and now is the time to come together. It seems that despite this uncertainty, we must gather our strength and trust life—because we believe we are taking a step that is both heartfelt and разумный, grounded in reason.

Feel, listen, trust, protect, and heal.

If you can feel all of these intentions—the vision, the work, the concentration, the project—living inside you; if a sense of trust is waking up in you, then please, come.

Let’s publish both the contract that will emerge, and the process that follows, online. In this way, our process can also guide the birth of other love-based, healing places—and our work can inspire other projects too.

LINK: INVESTOR PRESENTATION

This presentation is a simple introduction. If your interest continues, we can send a feasibility study and then meet to talk it through.

May those among us who have savings receive abundance from Peru—and by taking a step like this, bring healing to their surroundings and to the world.

And,

May we one day look back—together with our children, nieces and nephews, grandchildren—and be able to say: “We’re glad we tried.”

With heartfelt thanks,

Vamoss
